Maria (30 pounds) and Solomon (27 pounds) are 6 month old, 30 pound Staffordshire and Yellow Lab mix PUPS! They are sweet, and kind of shy, siblings. Once they get to know you, they're ready to be best friends. Maria and Solomon will relax and enjoy the love when they get to their new homes. And they will be fine going to separate homes!
Adoption fees are $60, $30 or free. If the pet has been at the shelter more than 30 days, they are free. Check the INTAKE DATE on the adoption card to determine this. If the pet is 4 years of age or older OR if you adopt more than one pet, the fee is $30 for each pet. All others are $60. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 405-297-3100.
The dog/cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Use pet's ID # when inquiring.
