Meet Snowball in NC - Loves Playing in the Water!

Snowball is a happy young pup who has all of the charms of a sweet girl. She is a Pyr mix with beautiful bright blue eyes and ears that can lay flat like a Pyr, and also stand straight up! She walks well on a leash, is crate trained, already knows how to “sit” and “come,” and is learning other house manners. Like all young pups, she plays and sleeps hard, and is exploring her new surroundings. She gets along with everyone in her foster house, and is sure to do great meeting new people of all ages, as she has a sweet pyrsonality. She’s adjusting well and enjoys playing with her Pyr foster siblings! Snowball would love a fenced-in yard to play in (a 5-foot fence will do the trick). This enchanting girl barks less than the average Pyr, and prefers spending her time playing indoors with toys and the other dogs in her foster home. She also enjoys going on car rides, and playing in the water. - She desperately hopes that her furever home will have a canine sibling (or two!) for her to play with, and a kiddie pool for endless splashing fun!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
