SNICKERS is a sweetie seeking her forever family!

This affectionate girl would love to be chilling next to you with her head on your lap. And then curl up on her dog bed for a nice long nap. She loves her naps! She has a mellow, laid back personality. But she also enjoys playtime, especially playing with squeaky balls. Throw the ball to her and watch her catch it mid-air. This girl has got skills!

She’s house trained and crate trained. She is great with kids. She walks nicely beside you on a leash though sometimes she gets excited and jumps around when she sees other dogs. She’s working on that! Snickers doesn’t do well with other dogs in the home because she gets possessive of “her” humans. So she must be an only dog. It’s not known how she is around cats though a test can be arranged.

Snickers and her foster mom have worked together with a professional trainer ton basic obedience and those tips of the trade will be passed along to the adopter.

We believe SNICKERS to be a HOUND/SHIP mix. Her estimated DOB is 10/12/2019, and she weighs 41 pounds.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
