Smiley #4 Chocolate Labrador Retriever & Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

This adorable chocolate drop of a pup is SMILEY #4, a 10 month old chocolate lab mix. He currently weighs about 48lbs, and we don't expect him to get much larger. He has a thick and durable coat that serves him well when he splashes around in the kiddie pool at his foster home. As you can see from his photos, Smiley is a joyful, smart pup with expressive eyes and endearing head tilt. He comes by his name honestly. He is great fun and would be an ideal family pet or BFF for a single person/couple looking for a canine companion. Smiley is house trained and crate-trained. He is also eager to learn and is very treat motivated, which goes hand-in-hand with training. Smiley gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys romping with his fur foster siblings. Smiley walks well on leash, and loves taking walks with his foster family. While out on walks, tail wagging, he enjoys meeting new people. Smiley also loves cuddling with his foster family while watching the Olympics. Smiley would love a forever home with a fenced yard, so that he can safely play outside with his family. ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.

Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
