This handsome boy may not have had an easy first half of his life, but he is so happy to have landed at Saving Grace and excited to spend the rest of his life with his forever family. Slapjack came to Saving Grace with a badly damaged front leg that needed to be amputated. Since his surgery, Slapjack's happy-go-lucky hound personality has come out and he is going to make a great family member for someone! Slapjack is friendly with all and enjoys the company of other dogs. Being on the older side, he is content napping most of the day away. He Ioves a soft dog bed or making himself comfy on the couch. He does love to be outside and would do best in a home that has a fenced yard for him. Slapjack can go up stairs no problem. Coming down is slightly more difficult missing that balance in the front, but he would likely adapt just fine to being in a home with one flight of stairs. He is an excellent car traveler and is happy to snooze in the backseat while driving around. If you are looking for a calm, easygoing boy to join your family, Slapjack may be the perfect fit!
