Meet Sky! -9 year old spayed female husky -Surrendered to the Shelter after previous guardian was unable to continue caring for -Previously lived in a home where she was primarily outdoors so she may need a bit of patience in the transition to her new home -Lived in a home with children ages 3 years to 11 years and did well -Liked to go for walks in a previous home -Has met dogs at the Shelter and has been playful with them -No history with cats Now through December 23rd the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting Home for the Holidays. This adoption event reduces the adoption fee for all cats, rabbits and dogs to $50. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
