Meet Skog /pronounced "Skoo-g"

Hi I'm Skog pronounced SKOOG lol! They call me that since it is the Swedish word for forest as every time I see a trail or patch of woods I want to run in and explore! (For some reason I also respond to it better than the first name they chose.) Shelter staff are not sure just exactly what I am - but I have ears that are hound like- a super long tongue- long limbs with white socks and wide paws. I look like I might enjoy a walk on the trail or a hop in the lake!

Hey there- Skoog is still with us at the shelter- we learn more about him everyday. Skog has a spirit that can't be destroyed- even after being here over 1 YEAR in this shelter. He is still hopeful and joyful when he sees strangers - his tail wags when he sees another dog and just wants to make friends. Skoog is a people pleaser - and just wants to be loved. He knows sit and might give you some paw - but one thing he will always give to you in abundance is his love and attention.
