Meet Skidder - this barely 1 year old boy was SHOT, yes I said SHOT - for being in the wrong place at the wrong time!!

When he was finally picked up, his wounds were already starting to show signs of infection – Skidder’s response was a wiggling butt, wagging tail and tons more of kisses.

He was immediately rushed to the vets office - where they decided to put him under anesthisea to clean out the wound - but once they started to work on him they realized that the infection had already damaged the leg so bad that we had to make the choice to save his life or take the let. The vet choose life for this boy.

Dogs like Skidder, do not look back, they do not remember the suffering only the love. He has no fears of the human’s that have hurt him – and only looks for love and attention. Dogs are remarkable at living with disabilities – he will prosper and become an amazing member for the right family.
