Meet Skeeter!
Skeeter man is ready to find the lap of his dreams to crash on for all the days to come! Skeeter came as an owner surrender and clearly had some trauma he needed to recover from. At only around 2 years old he was very nervous of people when he first came into my home. Skeeter now has so many dog and human friends and is just an absolute love! He loves snuggles and will curl up close by to nap. He knows how to say “please” with his paws and likes to play fetch. He has been around cats and dogs of all sizes and does great with all. Skeeter does seem to do best with more routine then chaos. He tends to get anxious when there are lots of routine changes and needs a couple days to decompress but this behavior displays as pacing and whining, sometimes barking and he can be easily redirections with time and attention! Skeeter would do great in a home with or without a furry friend. He truly loves nothing more than being close by his human and putting a smile on their face!

Please note: when Skeeter first came into rescue, he did make a couple mistakes and used his mouth to communicate his fear. He has since built so much confidence and love for humans that those incidences are nearly forgotten!
