Meet Simba
Looking for a sweet, doofy boy? Here he is! Simba has the sweetest face and loves showing his affection. He is very strong and would greatly benefit from an Obedience Training class as he is a bit willful. He LOVES treats, though, but sometimes forgets to be GENTLE!
A mature pup of about 5 years old, Simba appears to be house trained. Favorite pastimes include tug-of-war with a rope toy and FETCH with his tennis balls. His energy, thank goodness, isn't endless and he tires after short but rowdy stints. He's a little insecure, whining some when ignored, but separation anxiety can be helped with patient training! All in all, we see lots of couch potato potential!
Simba would appreciate a home without cats as he's very prey-driven. For that reason, we think kids 13+ might be best. Simba lived with another pup in his previous life and would likely acclimate well to a mutual K9 buddy.
If you like your pups like a good cup of coffee, sweet & strong, Simba could be the fur-buddy for you! Call the shelter to set up a meet & greet and take this guy home!
