Meet Simba

Simba is a sweet lovable boy. He loves people and toys and has learned the crate is alright. He's made a lot of progress with his crate training and will sleep in it at night and be in it during the day. He still prefers to be out with everyone else though. He loves to play with little puppies and gets along with dogs after proper introductions. He is protective of his food so he eats separate from the other dogs. With training this could improve. He is very treat motivated and gets excited for treats. He will sit for treats after he's jumped up in excitement, this too has gotten better and he's learning not to jump up. He uses the doggy door and is potty trained. He loves to snuggle in bed or on the couch. He has LOTS of energy and would love a family that takes him hiking and keeps him active. He does not know what personal space is so we recommend obedience training to help him and his humans learn how to help him become the best companion dog he can be. He will need a tall fence as he's very curious about what's on the other side! He just wants a snuggle buddy who will help him be his bestest self. He is almost 2 years old.
Please research before adopting any pup - make sure your type of home and lifestyle is the right fit for the activity level and needs of the particular breeds mentioned as a possible mix in our rescue pups.
Our adoption fee is $125.00 each and our pups have been spayed/neutered, wormed, vaccinated for kennel cough and have received their parvo/distemper shot. We require a fenced yard (or if you live in the country with acreage, approval is on a case by case basis). Our dogs must be allowed in their family home and be allowed to sleep inside of the home at night. At adoption you will be required to complete and sign an adoption contract.
We are located in Billings, Montana and require adopters to travel to our location.
