Meet Simba
Simba is a beautiful German Shepherd who came to the rescue after being kept in a basement for the first two years of his life. He was not socialized as a puppy and had little to no kind human interaction. He underwent careful rehabilitation once he arrived in our care.
Due to the humans that owned him, he can be wary of people when first meeting them and thus proper introductions are of the upmost importance! He needs a home with dog savvy owners who can properly manage his interactions with people.
He is a snuggly, affectionate boy and would be great with kids over 8 years old. He loves dogs of any size! He is not cat or small animal friendly and needs a home that understands that.
Simba is incredibly obedient and has all his basic obedience cues down - he is also crate and house trained. He has excellent recall!
Simba is a sweet cuddle-bug of a dog. Once he trusts you, you are in his club for life and what a special and privileged membership that is!
If you give Simba a chance, you will have the most smushable, head-under-your-chin-at-night-while-sleeping baby of a German Shepherd that has ever existed!
If he were cat friendly, our founder would be eagerly keeping this boy. He is intensely emotionally aware and loving--and an absolute BABY. He seeks approval over all over things in this world and despite how humans treated him early on, Simba is eager to connect and trust and LOVE.
An approved application is the first step to meeting any available animals.
All dogs in our care are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm/lyme testing, monthly flea and tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative, fecal testing, and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption if not already.
All dogs in our care leave on foster-to-adopt contracts for the first 14-30 days in potential homes. These contracts set clear boundaries and expectations for potential adopters to ensure dogs are kept safe and set up to succeed in their transitions. If you are interested in adopting, please email allearsrescue@gmail.com.
If you are looking to adopt a dog, any current dogs in your home must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough, heartworm/Lyme testing, monthly flea and tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative, fecal testing, and be spayed/neutered. If you have any current cats in your home, they must be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper, flea/tick medication, and be spayed/neutered.
If you are interested in adopting, or have any questions, please email allearsrescue@gmail.com.
