Meet Silver
Silver is an exceptional cartoon of a dog!! He is a goofball and has a great sense of humor. He is fun and exciting, loves affection and will do anything for you. If you are looking for a smart, emotionally intelligent, curious dog - then look no further.
Silver came to us as a COVID dog--he lived in a home with an elderly lady and grew protective of her due to little to no socialization. He has lived with children before and is a playful housemate with them. Due to his protective tendencies, he needs to be in a fenced in yard or always on a leash. He cannot go to a home with small animals or cats. Silver had a brief time in an adoptive home where they had a run set up, and Silver was going
He is exuberantly playful especially with dogs his size or larger! He loves water and playing fetch and is crate and house trained. We are working on his leash manners to encourage him to be more polite. Anyone interested in Silver could do private training sessions at no cost with Shannon (CCPDT) to help set him and his new family up for success!
Regardless, Silver would love to be in a home with a "been-there-done-that" type role model dog--but it is not a requirement. He is such a joyful boy and has never had a bad day--the only times we have seen him stressed are when he wants to be included or join in on the fun--he can be a clingy boy. No separation anxiety, just FOMO.
Silver would make an excellent hiking, jogging or sport partner!
An approved application is the first step to meeting any available animals.
All dogs in our care are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm/lyme testing, monthly flea and tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative, fecal testing, and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption if not already.
All dogs in our care leave on foster-to-adopt contracts for the first 14-30 days in potential homes. These contracts set clear boundaries and expectations for potential adopters to ensure dogs are kept safe and set up to succeed in their transitions. If you are interested in adopting, please email allearsrescue@gmail.com.
If you are looking to adopt a dog, any current dogs in your home must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough, heartworm/Lyme testing, monthly flea and tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative, fecal testing, and be spayed/neutered. If you have any current cats in your home, they must be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper, flea/tick medication, and be spayed/neutered.
If you are interested in adopting, or have any questions, please email allearsrescue@gmail.com.
