Sigmund Terrier Mix Atlantic City, NJ

This little firecracker of dog is Sigmund. At 2.5 years old, he has lots to offer. He is super quick and lots of fun, and he settles quickly and can just hand out. When you see him in his kennel, he'll be up front jumping and to get your attention because he has been here several months already. He came to us from an over crowded shelter originally and we were happy to choose him for our adoption program.

We had him loose in the shelter Sunday night. He was barely interested in the cats in the cat room and was fascinated by our two resident parrots. After his visit with the small animals, out came Danny, our full grown German Shepherd tester dog. Sigmund held his own with their rowdy play and he settled after just a few minutes. He respected the younger (larger) dog and gave up toys easily to his new friend.

Sigmund takes treats easily from your hand and is a very cool little dude. He has been housebroken here at HSAC even when allowed to run around the building full of other animals.
