Meet Sierra
Meet Sierra!!
Age:2-3 years old
Location:Female
Sierra loves people and has alot of energy! We do not know what her life was like before she came to us but it is obvious she has had puppies. She was thin when she first came in and had mange. She is fully recovered from mange and has put on almost 10 pounds! She is food motivated and acts like she has not eaten in days! She is getting used to her routine though and gets plenty of food now!
She plays with toys a bit but not much of a chewer. She takes things into her crate and loves the peanut butter in the Kong toy! Sierra is in a home with other dogs and does ok. She doesn't really know how to play with other dogs, we don't think she has ever had the chance to just be a dog, she's probably only known having babies and having to protect them. Sierra LOVES to be loved on and will lick you alot!!
She is a great car rider and did great at the vets office. She is crate and house trained too!
Can you teach her how to be a dog? She just needs someone with a little patience and is willing to show her the ropes! Sierra is a candidate for our Veterans-program!
