Batter up! It’s Opening Day for Mama Diamond’s Baseball Boys! Please read this post carefully if you are interested in adopting one of these pups. We are all volunteers and we have limited manpower. We cannot answer messages and emails with questions whose answers are clearly spelled out below.

Mama Diamond weighs 54 pounds and we believe she is a Labradoodle. She and her seven baby boys came to us as part of a neglect/cruelty case involving over 100 animals. These precious ones got a terrible start in life so we need to ensure that they are treasured and loved well for the rest of their days. Doodles are wonderfully loving dogs. They are also high-energy and high-maintenance so please carefully consider your schedule and lifestyle before you apply to take on the 15+ year commitment of one of these pups. These dogs are NOT hypoallergenic so if that is what you require these pups are not a good match for you. Like all youngsters they needs lots of attention and proper training. Homes with fenced yards and at least one other playful dog to entertain and teach the puppy are preferred. Due to their young age, these babies cannot safely use a communal potty area so they cannot live in apartments.

Please note — SOHFGA is not a shelter. These puppies are in a foster home and adoptions are scheduled by appointment with approved applicants. We are located in Lawrenceville, GA and that is where you will come to meet/adopt your new baby. We do not transport our animals and all adopters must travel here in person. Each puppy is fully vetted --neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle.
