About Shiloh:
Shiloh Silver is an adorable Aussie Mix looking for a forever home where she can run, play, and snuggle! She’s a bundle of energy who loves to play, making her perfect for a family with an active lifestyle. Whether it's a game of fetch or a long walk, Shiloh’s always ready for an adventure.
She was not a fan of crates when she first got here but she is doing better with that. Her amazing foster is feeding her in there now so she knows it isn't a bad place - and she does some calming games before she goes in.
Shiloh is great at socializing and loves being around other dogs. She plays well with her fosters resident dogs and does the cutest little 360-degree spins when she’s excited during play. She is also able to entertain herself and will grab a toy to run around the house shaking and tossing.
After a fun day, Shiloh loves to wind down with some cuddle time, making her both the perfect playmate and snuggle buddy. And you will love to watch the way she sleeps on her back - as you can see in the picture it is so adorable!
Shiloh is a bit scared of men and boys, but we’ve been introducing her to male family members and she’s been warming to them. She’s really nervous initially in any new situation, but adapts pretty quickly with quiet voices and treats. I took her to a public setting at the Tuscan Village on Saturday and she did well. She was shy with the men in the area, but accepted treats from women she met. She is a bit of a jumper and gets good height- but her foster mom has been ignoring her when she enters a room and in just minutes she realizes she won't get attention until she sits so that is what she proceeds to do. Good girl Shiloh!!!
She is high energy, but does settle down with slow, soft speech and slow movements from the human handling her. She tends to mirror the person she’s with. We’re working on Zen Bowl and she’s doing well with that. We’re also working on the counting game and the name game. She’s responding well to those too.
Why Shiloh is Special:
Shiloh’s intelligence and high energy make her a great candidate for training. She would thrive in a home that can give her both mental stimulation and lots of playtime. While she may not love the crate, her sweet nature and charm more than make up for it. She’s really good with the “sit” command and is getting much better with her “downs”.
If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving, and affectionate companion, Shiloh is waiting to meet you!
Her new foster mom shares "Shiloh is so charming. She is going to be a wonderful addition to an active family."
