Shilo Yorkshire Terrier Southport, CT

Hi there, I am a 2-year 5 lb male Yorkie named Shilo and I was born on 2/12/22 in San Antonio to a backyard breeder. I was adopted as a tiny puppy but my owner now works too much and has no time for me, I’m bored and lonely, still very tiny, and recently taken in by 4 Little Paws Rescue and sent to a foster home while getting ready to find a new home… hopefully forever this time!

I am an easygoing, chill little man, friendly with humans, indifferent to other dogs, and my main goal in life is to be snuggled, give snuggles, get snuggles, there are just not enough snuggles in the world for for me. So you are trying to find out some information about me, but the answer to every question is Snuggles. Seriously. What's my favorite toy? Snuggling. Favorite playtime game? Snuggling. Am I affectionate? Yes, snuggly. Where do I sleep at night? Snuggled up in the bed beside you of course. At only 5 lbs I could easily stay snuggled up with you in a pocket or pouch on a full-time basis. I am NOT currently a velcro dog because other foster dogs in my home require some attention too, so while I am waiting for my turn to snuggle, I will take a nap in my cozy little crate, or explore around the office while my foster mom works. I’m quiet and well-behaved. I don't chew your furniture or dig in the yard. I’m housebroken if kept to a schedule. I’ll go out for a walk wearing an itty bitty harness and I LOVE to go for rides in the car, which works out great because I’ll be moving to Connecticut at the end of this week, riding on board a rescue dog transport van in a little doggy crate, way up high so I can see everything. When we arrive and the driver gets out holding something tiny in his hand, it will be me!
