Meet Sherman (bonded to Taylor)
Meet Sherman, a male mini dachshund, and Taylor, a female chihuahua. They are a sweet and loving bonded pair whose story has taken a sad turn. Adopted out to a family in 2010, recently these 15-year-old best friends landed in a shelter. We are told their owners are now suffering with serious illness and cannot care for these little ones anymore.
Here’s what their foster has to say:
“Sherman is not an early riser. He likes to wrap up in a blanket to sleep. Loves moseying around the yard. Walks the entire perimeter when he goes out. Gets along great with other dogs. Is house trained but occasionally will use a puppy pad when I'm at work. Very low key and friendly. Both he and Taylor would do well in a house with a fenced in yard so they can explore. Taylor is also low key and very friendly. Gets along with other dogs as well. Also house trained. She is rather chatty when fixing her meals but otherwise very quiet. They would make great companions.”
They are completely vetted and up to date and overall healthy. As small dogs, they have a lot of years of loving to give still. Please help us find them a place to spend their golden years with love and care they deserve. Fill out an application to adopt: https://forms.gle/T5EGLmtXs2wZTZFs5
