UPDATE - March 2011:Â Â Â And now, a few words from me: Hi there! I've moved down to Buckhorn, near Peterborough, to a new foster mom. This pack of dogs is a bit older & more sedate, which I like. No puppy antics here to startle & confuse me.
And now, a few words from my foster mom: Shelley has been a loveable, easy addition to my pack. She's only been with me for a few days but already she has established a good relationship with my furry girls & is settling in very well. She is a sweet little girl who loves to have her back scratched & take long naps in the sun. She's getting more active breaking into a cute little gallup inside & out when she's particularly happy about things. She will be a wonderful addition to any quiet home with not too many surprises. She's a wonderful size, small enough to pick up & take any where. She hardly ever barks & greets everyone she meets with a friendly wag of her little tail.
Â
And now a few words from me: I would love a home of my own with a loving person who will let me love them in return. I have so much love to give. Feet and quick movements startle me since I can't hear you coming. I would really like a home with an older person. I don't play with toys but I love to sleep in a doggie bed. I never had one before. I also just found out about rawhide and treats. WOW! They are good! I don't need a lot of exercise and I like to follow my people around and be with them all the time.
And now a few words from my foster mom: Shelley is a joy. If you pick her up and love her for awhile she does a little 'happy dance' when you put her down. She hasn't had loving before and is really enamoured with it. She will respond with hand signals if she's watching you. She must have a fenced yard or a gated deck as she can't hear if you call her. She will make a wonderful companion for the right person. We will be sad to see her go but she needs to be with less dogs than there is here and have her own people to give her lots of attention.
