Sheeba Belgian Shepherd / Malinois Mix Cypress, TX

Hello there! My name is Sheeba aka Coyotita, because I look like a petite coyote even though I’m really a Belgian Malinois mix. I am around 2-3 years old and clock in at 45 lbs, a perfect size for adventure if you ask me!

I LOVE my larger foster brother and sister dogs because they play with me anytime I want. They also tolerate me squeaking my squeaky toys that I love oh so much! I also enjoy food puzzles, lick mats, and peanut butter filled kongs. True to my breed, I like things that keep my brain stimulated!
I haven’t been around children yet, but imagine I would like them. Since I’m a young active girl, I think I’d do best around kids 8 years or older. I am a little too interested in cats, to the point I have been told it’s not nice to chase them, so I think I’ll do best in a home without cats.

I’m learning how to like the kennel, I really prefer to be with my dog friends or people, so I might need a little help getting more used to the kennel but I am fine with an enclosed room as my kennel. I’m currently kept in the laundry room at my foster home in the evening and when they’re out and am not destructive. I sleep quietly through the night on the floor or a comfy bed wherever you prefer that I do.

I am potty trained & do great on a leash as long as there aren’t any small things to chase like squirrels, I LOVE SQUIRRELS! I’m also smart and a very fast learner too.

I’d love an active family that likes to take me on lots of walks and adventures (I love a good car ride!) because I’m still a young girl that likes to have fun, but when I’m not on an adventure I love to explore the backyard (a backyard would be ideal!), patrol for creatures, sunbathe and at the end of the day my FAVORITE thing to do is cuddle on the couch with my foster parents and foster dog siblings. I am not scared of thunderstorms or loud noises and I am very treat motivated. I sit patiently and wait for my humans to give me snacks.

Oh and I almost forgot, I’m bilingual— understand English AND Spanish. Us doggies tend to learn both down South. I do have an old front paw injury but the vet says with regular supplements it shouldn’t materially affect my life, and it doesn’t phase my personality one bit, it just makes me special!

Sheeba is heartworm NEGATIVE, spayed, up to date on vaccines and current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
