Meet Sheba the Sweetheart

Sheba has been an absolute sweetheart with everyone – adults, children 10 years and older, dogs, and cats. Please note that she has not met any younger children. Sheba visited a ranch where there were horses, goats, pigs, cows, chickens, and ducks. She had no interest in any of them. Sheba will seek attention and give kisses when she’s happy. She is middle-aged and weighs in at 65 lbs. Once she gains her optimum weight she should be at about 75 – 80 lbs.

Sheba was picked up as an abandoned stray in a remote location in Linden, CA. No one stepped forward to claim her and she is not microchipped. There is evidence that Sheba was not treated well wherever she was before she was left to fend for herself.

Sheba is spayed and she dental was work done due to several worn and chipped teeth – most likely from chewing on cage bars. Blood and urine tests have been performed and look ok considering that she was underweight. Tick, heartworm, and fecal tests all came back negative, and she has been brought up to date on vaccinations. Sheba is currently on heartworm prevention. Her medical records information is available to interested rescues who can foster her or a permanent adopter.
