Meet SHAY
Shay is a midsized adult dog that came to us as a stray that we weren't able to reunite with her people, so we don't know anything about her before coming to us. In her time at the shelter she has become a staff favorite, especially as we find ourselves in a space crunch and she moved into an office. She is affectionate but calm enough she doesn't make it so we can't work. She has been nicely housetrained, even holding it overnight for the +14 hours she is alone most nights. She is young enough she likes walks and exploring the yards when we both need a stretch break but old enough she doesn't need constant exercise to keep her from going batty in the office. What a great dog! Shays adoption fee has been waived. She is spayed and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply. Santa Fe Animal Shelter is proud to partner with GoodPup! Dogs learn best in familiar, comfortable environments with few distractions, so GoodPup training happens at home.
