Details on leash training, crate training, litter box training and other training commands known: Shes still new to the world so she doesnt know many commands but Shawnee doesn't chew on objects or hands, only toys, and takes treats very gently from hands. 6. Describe cuddling behavior/affection level: 10/10 Shawnee will follow you around like a puppy magnet, but isn't afraid to go off on her own to find a cozy place to nap. She sleeps on her own through the night. She's gentle in playtime and loves to come and lay against your legs. Has toe licking tendencies. 2. Describe play behavior and favorite toys: She loves a cloth squeaky/crinkle toy but also plays with tug ropes and chew balls. She's very gentle in all play and does not bite hands. 3. Describe activity level: She is a pretty calm puppy, as far as puppies go, mainly due to her temporary immobility. She still gets puppy zoomies at night and throughout the day but is content to nap and explore on her own. No issues with begging, jumping, or barking. 4. Look into the animals eyes. What does the animal specifically DO that exemplifies those adjectives: She gets up everyday with the energy of 10 puppies, despite the difficulty presented by her physical form. She can be trusted and will look back for you if she starts running ahead. 7. What are the animals best qualities?: Wow, everything. Shawnee is the easiest puppy to love. 8. What are your favorite things about him or her? Cute behaviors?: Shawnee has a ticklish spot on her shoulder blades. She loves playing with her reflection in the mirror. 9. What is/are your favorite physical characteristic(s) of this animal?: She has 3 dots on the sides of her face, on the corners of her eyes and on her whisker points. Her tail is also small and knubby. 10. What would the ideal home look like for him/her?: The ideal home would be a place where she could explore safely while she gets the treatment and therapy she might need. 11. Anything else that would make this animal stand out to an adopter?: Shawnee is such a sweet and special girl. Youll know it from meeting her. Medical/Behavior Issue 1. Any medical issues: Shawnee was born with a deformed paw that she drags while walking. PACC Vets had to amputate her leg so she is recovering as a tripod! 2. Any behavior issues: None whatsoever, she sleeps through the night, has no problem eating, has no issue being left home alone for a couple of hours. 3. Any other special concerns: Shawnee is a sweet, gentle girl who will do great in a home where she can get stronger. Shes a playful puppy with great indoor manners and so much love to give.
