Meet Sharkie

Sharkie is a 2 year old Cairn Terrier/Norfolk Terrier mix who was surrendered to a shelter in East Texas. At first he is shy when meeting new people. Once he gets to know you he will stick to you like glue. Sharkie is working on house breaking and is doing very well. At night, he sleeps in a kennel although we know he would enjoy sleeping in your bed too. He LOVES other dogs big or small and would prefer a home with one. He will chase cats so a home without them is a must. Unfortunately, it seems that he might have been abused in his past. He is very hand shy with new people and needs to be shown lots of love to feel comfortable. We think he would do best in a home without small children as well as an active owner only because he sticks very close to you and will try to go with you if a door is open. He will also need a home with privacy fence. He does not bark and just wants to observe people and see what's going on around him. Sharkie has been neutered, is up-to-date on vaccines, and has been microchipped.
