Shark Terrier & Chihuahua Mix Hamden, CT

Shark is ten weeks old and 10lbs. His mom was pregnant, sitting in a high kill shelter after being found stray and we were able to secure a foster for mom so she could decompress in foster and be pampered in a loving home while giving birth, nursing and taking care of her puppies. Dad is unknown but we believe he was a small breed mix, and mom (terrier/lab mix) was only 30/35lbs. Mom, named China, has since been adopted! Now it’s time for Shark and his sister Rabbit to find forever homes! Shark is a happy go lucky puppy who loves everyone he meets, loves other dogs and barks and runs around with energy. He will thrive in a home looking to raise an active puppy and continue his potty, crate and leash training. He does well in the car and is adapting well to learning new things. He loves toys and wrestling with his siblings, too. Shark is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and is on preventatives and dewormed. He is too young to be neutered so we will work with his new family to set up and follow through with his neuter appointment once he’s age appropriate.
