" Shakira " story:
" Shakira " was rescued from puppy mill in Taiwan in this Sept .

She’s extremely friendly to all people, kids. She is good with dogs but
a bit bossy and jealous with dogs . Fine with cats .
, and loves cuddling.

@Dog : OK but a bit bossy and dominate , prefer a family has no dog or another dog is submissive .

@Kids : Good , but she loves to jump on people so prefer a family has no kids under 12 .

@ House -train ---"Shakira " is house-trained and does her business outside. She needs to go out at least 4 times a day and is fairly regular with her peeing and pooping.

@This affectionate girl has mild possessive food problem with dogs , will growling if other dog interesting in her food. so prefer a family has no other dog or another dog is submissive .

We are looking for a very loving family that fits the following criteria:

1. "Shakira " likes to hang out and play in a fenced yard, so only adopted by a family in a house with a fenced yard.

2. Must be an experienced dog owner that won’t leave her alone for extended periods of time (less than 5 hours).

3. Family has no kids under 12 years old.

4. Must allow dogs on furniture and provide doggy stairs .

5. You are committed to feeding her high-quality dog food.

6. You are committed to provide a forever loving home to "Shakira ".

Adoption process:

1. Complete the adoption application form. **Please seriously consider your level of commitment before completing the adoption form. **

2. Phone interview.

3. Home check and meet up with "Shakira ". Please note: after completing the adoption process, including a home check, we do not guarantee the dog you have applied for will be offered to you to adopt. The home check gives you and our volunteers an opportunity to decide if your home and this dog are a good match. We may require several home checks to find the best match, and our team of volunteers review all the information acquired in the process to help dogs and families find the best fit for each adoption.

4. If the adoption is approved, future follow-ups with Save A Life Society will be required.
