Shadow is 7 and a half month old girl with lots of energy and personality who loves ice cream and playing in water. We aren’t quite sure what Shadow’s breed mix is, but her mom Lucille looks like she could be a corgi shepherd mix, and some of her siblings look labby.
Momma Lucille, visibly pregnant, was left at a shelter by a family who didn't want to take care of her or her puppies. It turned out to be a very lucky day for all of them however, because one of our amazing foster families heard about Lucille and made arrangements to go get her from the shelter right away. Lucille arrived to the safety of her foster home at 10am and was delivering her babies by 2:30pm that very same day. The pups are all happy and healthy and have grown up in loving foster homes.
Shadow’s foster mom says “This incredibly sweet little girl already knows "sit" "down" "wait" "come" and "crate" and walks well on a leash. She enjoys adventure days and movie nights with equal gusto. She thinks playing in the garden hose and splashing in our kiddie pool are a blast. She is great with kids and other dogs, and she wants to play with the cats she has met.”
