Seven Ibizan Hound & Terrier Mix Eaton, OH

Seven is a 3 year old female Ibizen Hound / Terrier mix that some of you may remember when she was posted in Preble County Lost and Found Pets. She had been tied to a picnic table at Seven Mile Park (hence the name) and before the Dog Warden could pick her up, someone turned her loose. As we came to find out, she lived at the apartment building about a mile away and she traveled back and forth for a couple of hot July days between where she lived and where she had been tied. Her feet were burnt on the hot asphalt and she had to cross a busy 4-lane street every time she made the trek. She was nervous, scared, lonely and only wanted her family back. However, they no longer wanted her. She finally gave up and allowed someone to catch her and bring her to us. She could not calm down for several days, but is now settled in and waiting to find a new home where she is never abandoned again. Seven weighs 45 lbs. and will need a fenced yard so we can make sure her traveling days are over.
