Seneca is a gentle soul with a heart full of love. His journey began on the streets of Sayulita, Mexico, but he was fortunate to find a caring home on the West Coast of the United States, where he has thrived.
Several years ago, Seneca was hit by a car and underwent successful leg and hip surgery. However, after moving into a home with many stairs, he has reinjured his leg. To ensure his full recovery and comfort, Seneca would do best in a home with minimal stairs.
He gets along well with other dogs when introduced carefully, though he has some food resource guarding. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, Seneca would truly thrive as the only dog in a home. He is patient with children and wonderful with cats.
