Meet Sean Connery
Sean Connery is a senior pet with some non-life-threatening special needs, but don’t let that sway you from giving him a loving home! Sean can be timid at first, but once he warms up to you he is very loving and friendly. As a senior, he just wants a nice warm bed or lap to sleep on. Sean has proven to be friendly with children, cats, and even other dogs! Like many small breeds, he has kneecaps that are a little unsteady and result in a bit of an odd gate- he may even skip or limp from time to time to get his knee back in place! Like many older dogs, Sean has some dirty teeth that would eventually benefit from being cleaned in the future. Thankfully, Sean’s bloodwork did not show any signs of organ disease! You may notice one of his eyes has some flesh that protrudes- this is what is known as a “cherry eye.” They are non-painful to the pet and while they will benefit from having them surgically repaired, it is not an urgent need for most.
All adoptions are by appointment only. If you would like to meet Sean, please request an adoption form via PetFinder Inquiry. Once we have been notified of the request, someone at the office will email you an adoption application to fill out and return via email. Once we have received the filled-out application, someone from the office will contact you regarding a day and time to meet at the shelter.
All adoptions are $10. In California, dogs are required to have current rabies vaccinations and must be licensed in their county of residence.
