Scout Chihuahua Mix Salem, OR

Hi, I'm Scout, an 10 pound, 5.5 month old Chihuahua mix. I am sweet, cuddly and playful with dogs and humans. I ride well in the car, love people and other dogs.

I am fostered in Linn County, about an hour from Eugene, Salem, Corvallis, Sisters. About 1.5 from Bend and 2 from PDX and Newport. My rescue people will meet you part way if they can.

I am well on my way to becoming house trained. I love to ride in the car, cuddle with my foster humans, and have a pup cup! I am a great all around guy. I'd do fine in a home with kids with great dog manners, friendly dogs, and I'm sure with proper introduction, friendly cats.

I am neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and ready for adoption. I will need one more vaccination post adoption. My adoption fee is $400.

A great home for me and my must haves include:

1. An owned or stable renter home with a securely fenced yard.
2. Folks around a lot; I am a puppy and I need company and training to learn to be a great and mannerly adult dog.
3. Adopters who walk their dogs, who treat their pets as family members, who take their pets on their fun outings and who believe in good nutrition and vet care for the their pets.
4. Scout will do well with another friendly dog, a friendly cat with proper introduction and with children over 6 who have great dog manners.
