Scout is a sweet older guy (9-10) looking for a special someone. He loves walks and going on adventures. He is good in the car and likes to hang his head out the window and let his face flap in the wind.
But he also likes to just hang out and watch tv. Or sit on the porch on nice days. He’s flexible as long as he can be with you!
Scout is so house-trained he doesn't even make a mess in his outdoor kennel.
He's fully vetted and on heartworm preventative.
He prefers to be an only pet, but has been good with resident female dogs at his foster, even playing with the more friendly of the 2 females.. Cats are another matter. We don't think we would recommend cats, although at his fosters, after a while he got out of the dog room, and mingled with the cats ok, we just wouldn't recommend it. The foster cats are accustomed to dogs and don't react. He likes older kids.
