Scooter Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher Mix Manhattan, KS

Howdy! My name is Scooter. I am a 13# smooth Chihuahua mix. I was found abandoned on a road, and a good Samaritan stopped, picked me up, took me to their house, and then contacted Purple PAWS to see if someone would want to foster me until I found my forever home. I am a year and 4 months old (so I'm guessing my birthday is 07/21/2023). I am up to date on my age-appropriate vaccines and neutered. This is what my foster momma knows about me so far. I am a little goofy. I like to belly and back crawl on the carpet. I like to eat alone (my foster siblings are good about leaving me to eat alone, but I am not aggressive). I whine for a bit in my kennel at night, but then I fall asleep. I know how to use a doggie door and will use it at my leisure to go outside to check out the action or go to the bathroom. I am not completely housebroken, but I am working on it. I love to play with my foster siblings and do zoomies. I don't destroy furniture or pillows. I love to be held like a baby and have my foster momma tell me how cute and good I am. Hugs and kisses from my human is a must! I love to cuddle by your side when you sit on the couch. Loud noises startle me. I like children and love to play with other dogs my size. Unfamiliar large dogs scare me, and I will bark at them. I would love to have a fenced-in yard to run, chase squirrels, and burn off my still-puppy energy.
