Scooby!!

Hey there ??? You looking for a tiny addition to your family?? Well let me introduce myself!! My name is Scooby! I’m not quite ready to solve mysteries but I have quite a personality. I can’t tell you what I’ve gone through but I can tell you I am super sweet and submissive. I can also admit that I’m still a little afraid at times. I have been in a home for about a month and have come so far but I definitely need a kind gentle home to help be build my confidence and help me grow to the best boy I can be.

And how will I return the favor ?? Well… If you let me I will be your total snuggle bug! I’m really sweet even when I’m scared so no worries about aggression. I get along with all size dogs and even cats !!

My foster mom has learned some of my tricks and is helping me . She can share those secrets with you. I’m getting better with house training but sometimes I get super excited or scared and have an accident.

Since I’m a terrier I’m a really smart little guy !! So my wheels are turning and I’m always learning !!

I’m really glad I’m having this time in foster care because it turns out even things like coming through a doorway on my own were a little scary to me at first !! That was a mystery I was able to solve with my smarts!!

One of my favorite life lessons so far is that giving a full body wag of excitement when seeing my new trusted human provides the best feeling on earth !!

Life is really looking up now and I am ready to join my forever family !!

It would be great if I got another doggy brother or sister to continue to show me how to be an outgoing addition to a family and a fenced yard to make sure I stay safe.

I don’t mind my crate. I have soft blankets and will burrow to take a nap.

ADOPTION FEE: $400.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
