Meet Sawyer

Hi everyone! My name’s Sawyer and I’m a 40#, 5-6 month old hound mix. My foster mom says I’m one of her best puppies ever!? I’m up to date on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, housetrained, crate trained, I love ALL people and ALL other dogs and puppies. I’m unknown with cats but my foster mom thinks I’d be ok with them too. Hey! I even know a few commands like sit, stay/wait, come. Now you know why she thinks I’m a PERFECT puppy!??

The optimal family for me would have an active dog for me to play with or even younger kids who want a cool pup to run around the yard with (that’s me, a cool pup!). I’m not a dominant dog and respond really well to correction (by dogs and humans). A fenced yard would be really cool so I can run and really stretch my legs. If you don’t have a fenced yard, that’s ok. Remember how much I like to go for walks? We can go for lots of walks (I’m still a puppy and have puppy energy to burn off?).
