Meet Sawyer! He can be quite the shy guy, but likes to follow the lead of other dogs and quickly gains confidence when around them! Do not let his timidness fool you - this boy is full of love, playfulness, and has a huge heart! Sawyer lived with his Southern foster mom before coming to CT and he quickly became her favorite foster pup ever. She watched as his personality opened up and he began to discover what toys were, how to play, how to keep himself occupied by chewing on bones, and sunbathing! Though Sawyer is extremely gentle and does excellent with kids (he loves when they give him belly rubs!), we suggest that he go to a home without very young children, as his transition into a new home should be free from lots of loud noises and quick, shuffling feet. Sawyer has found kitties to be very interesting… too interesting! He requests a feline-free home, please! Not only does this boy deserve a chance, he deserves a home with more love than he knows what to do with!
