Meet Savanna
Savanna is a Hound/Boxer mix. Savanna has lived in the same home since she was a puppy, but they recently had to give her up due to some family issues and no fault of her own, so poor Savanna has found herself without a "fur"-ever home. Savanna is up to date on vaccines, is Heartworm negative, and spayed. We will cover a microchip for her as well upon adoption.
Savanna's approx. DOB is 3/25/2010.
Savanna has a good amount of energy (that's a Hound/boxer mix for you) and she loves zipping around the yard, so she would probably do best in an medium/active home that can give her lots of love and attention.
She loves playing with other dogs her own size (or bigger, too). Savanna does tend to have a high prey drive, so smaller dogs or cats could be an issue.
She loves dog toys of all kinds. Bones, antlers, and rope toys are great, as they last longer for her! She loves to explore, but is well behaved and at the end of the day lays right down on her dog bed for a snooze.
Savanna is a very sweet girl. She, especially loves getting attention from her humans. She can be a little shy at first when in a new situation, but her confidence is growing and once she warms up to you, she is very loving and just wants to cuddle. She has a very calm, soothing demeanor--she loves to rest her head on her lap and give little kisses. She hardly jumps on her humans, either!
Our adoption fee is a $250.00 donation to Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Our adopted dogs are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
