Sapphire Mixed Breed Houston, TX

Hi there I’m Sapphire and not even a year old yet but have not had the easiest start in life but thanks to my foster group and foster mom, I’m close to getting my second chance at happiness.

I’m quite the cutie, if I do say so myself! My coat is shiny black and super soft with beautiful white markings and my eyes are so light blue they almost look white.

I have a heart as big as my paws. I’m extremely friendly and get super excited when I meet new people and dogs. I get along with my current brother and sister, both lab mixes. They say threes a crowd, not with me I LOVE everyone!!! I am interested in cats, BUT i will leave them alone, I do have a feline brother.

I also enjoy to sunbathe and to play in puddles of water and I can entertain myself with toys especially tennis, racquet balls and raw hides. I need a home with a yard and other dogs...I love playmates.

I am crate and potty trained, BUT my current foster does not crate me.

My foster family like to say I’m sassy like I am in my “teenage” phase. I will occasionally talk back when told no. I enjoy walks ( and am trying to master the whole leash thing),

At bedtime I can be a cuddler if that's what you want or I will sleep where you put me.

My tail wags every time I meet someone new in hopes to meet my forever family
