Sandy Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix Verona, NJ

We found Sandy when her owner was killed and their friend reached out to us. She and her brother were kept outside and had food insecurity and generally were treated badly. And that is the miracle of dogs. This girl remains the sweetest, most loving girl who runs up to you with a toy and for love, pets and snuggles. She leans right in and wags her tail. She is so unbelievably loving.

Sandy is just a big mush. She is learning to be a house dog and has mastered housebreaking beautifully!! She's great in the car, but still in training for leash. She loves to eat (as you can imagine) but hasNO food aggression, or any aggression at all. None. Zero. She is not an aggressive dog. She's just a sweet and affectionate girl who wants nothing more than affection and to play. Foster would adopt her in a minute, but doesn't have the space.

When company comes, Sandy will bark a little when you walk in then will come up and wag her tail and come to greet you. She's ALWAYS happy to meet new friends! She is not crate trained, but again, is NOT house aggressive and no need to crate her. Fosters often find her strolling through the house with her stuffies in her mouth - we think she is giving them tours of her home (SWEET!!)

Sandy is up to date on shots and recently spayed. She loves kids and pretty much everyone. She likes other dogs, but needs a proper introduction. Sandy could use a fenced in yard, but will fit in anywhere that is big dog appropriate. Come meet Miss Sandy!! She won't disappoint.
