Sandy is an incredibly soft, shy, calm, docile, and sweet, two to three-year-old, 27-pound, female Beagle looking for a loving home – preferably with another dog. Sandy is wonderful with people of all ages including young children, great with all other dogs, fantastic with cats and rabbits. Sandy walks well on leash, but incredibly slowly following her nose wherever she goes. Sandy is housebroken, and detests being crated. She knows the commands sit and paw, and takes treats extremely gently from your fingers. I’ve never met a more peace-inspiring and amiable dog. She enjoys hanging out on her dog bed, or snuggling with you on the couch. True to her Beagle nature, she can sniff out a snack a mile a way. Sandy would really be happiest in a home with another dog. She’s not very playful but she really likes to have canine company. She is very healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits rescued pets.
