Sam Miniature Pinscher & Dachshund Mix San Jose, CA

Sam is around 9 months old and only around 25 lbs. Sam looks like a miniature Doberman and loves to cuddle up in your lap. We are not sure what breeds make up this little cutie. We are guessing maybe Miniature Pinscher, Dachshund, Whippet, Weimaraner, Doberman, Vizsla. This long leg beauty has an adorable stubby tail, and gorgeous coloring. She is already spayed, microchipped, de wormed, and up-to-date on vaccines. She is currently being fostered in Hollister, CA. Sam is working on the "here" command. She is consistently coming to her foster parents for pets and praise when she hears, "here". Sam has the same degree of comfort with men and women. After slow introductions, Sam does great with dogs of all sizes. Having other dogs around helps Sam to feel more comfortable. A home that has another K9 family member would be helpful for her. Sam really enjoys her walks but she feels more comfortable if another dog is walking with her. Sam loves to run and is a medium to high energy pup. After she has some exercise, Sam has a nice off switch and naps in the house. Sam has made huge progress in her foster home but in new situations she can be a shy, nervous, little girl who is looking for a patient adopter. Once Sam relaxes she is a big snuggle bug and loves to be on her person's lap. If allowed, Sam loves to sleep next to a human over night.
