Meet Sage in WV - Playful, Confident & Sweet!

Sage is a Pyrenees and Saint Bernard mix young pup who is very confident, good-natured and friendly. Her foster mom says that Sage has one of the sweetest personalities that she’s ever seen in a dog! She loves to play with other dogs and her favorite squeaky toys. She has soft, white fur with brown markings on her ears and left eye. She is food-motivated, and has already learned how to go on leashed walks and stay in a crate. She would do best with a family who can continue her training and will include her in family activities. She loves playing with other dogs, so a home with a male dog who could play with her would be best. Sage enjoys playing so much that even tries to entice the resident cats into a game! She likes children, so older kids that can handle her size would be great. She is a very lovable and affectionate girl with a great disposition.

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
