SAGE—URGENT! Pit Bull Terrier & Australian Shepherd Mix Wilmington, OH

Sage is a 3-year-old Australian shepherd/pitbull mix who loves other dogs and people, especially men.
Sage has been through obedience training and does great with eye contact and hand signals. Because she is a very smart girl, she needs a strong, active owner who will reinforce routines. She is house- and crate-trained, and she has been living in foster care.
After being attacked by a raccoon last year, she no longer does well with cats/chickens/small fluffy animals. Sage loves playing and rough-housing with other dogs but may be too intense for grumpy or older dogs.
Sage is a dog on high alert and would do well in agility (she is very fast!) or as a member of an active family. She does get excited when meeting new people, so a house with older children would be best.
Sage is a great size and fully grown at around 40 pounds and is a very low shedder. She would do best with a fenced-in yard where she could fully participate in her daily zoomies.

She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Her adoption fee is $200.
