Saide is estimated to be around 1 ½ years old and is 37 lbs.

Cutie Sadie is a petite, confident, and silly little terrier/bulldog mix, with a possible chipmunk tail. We have no idea where her adorable tail came from, but the vet examined it and said it was never docked. It is unfathomable, but Sadie was rescued from Hall County Animal Control on 9/7/24, 2 hours before her euthanasia deadline. So many volunteers worked hard to save her at You Lucky Dog Rescue and Hall County Animal Shelter.

Sadie was picked up as a stray in Hall County on 8/8/24, and no one came to claim her. She is a happy and bouncy little character, and she struts when she walks, the way a bulldog does. She doesn’t seem to be familiar with leash walks around the neighborhood, but when she is with her foster parents, she loves to take the time to just sniff the grass along her route. She is very curious but does not pull on the leash or run around. She enjoys her one-on-one time and happily gets her potty business done on her route.

Sadie lives in a foster home that includes her foster mom and dad, college-aged human brother and sister, 4 dogs (males and female), and 2 cats. She has somehow earned the nickname, “crispy chicken nugget,” probably because she is so little and squishy.

Sadie house-trained and crate-trained. She prefers to sit on her foster parents’ laps while they watch tv, rather than sit on a dog bed. She really enjoys hard bones while she is sitting at people’s feet, if she must be on her dog bed. Sadie’s foster dad works from home, so she enjoys a predictable schedule and loving attention. Sadie sleeps in her crate at night or when her foster parents leave the house, and she doesn’t chew her fleece blanket. Sadie is not food aggressive and does not resource guard - she will allow you to take food or toys/bones away from her without any problems. She is still unsure about her next meal, so she tries to eat her kibble quickly. She currently eats her meals outside her crate.

Sadie is easy to love and would do well as an only dog or as a part of a new family’s pack. Sadie is looking for a family who will enjoy having a little shadow follow them around the house. Sadie is a typical terrier who is on the move and is always looking for a toy or a treat to keep her busy. She is grateful to be in a home and will gaze up at you while you give her pets and scratches, wagging her teeny tail. Sadie is a great dog who deserves attention and love. PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
