Meet Sadie
Sadie is so sweet, but timid to start. She is about 4 years old and 14 lbs and is the only survivor of a hoarding situation, where over 30 dogs were in a yard and home, all running around in terrible conditions. The others were either too sick or too ferel to be saved. How healthy and sweet Sadie is, and as good as she is, well, clearly a miracle. She is a touch skittich in new situations, but really seems to want attetnion and to be around her humans. Sadie would probably do best if there were another dog or 2 for her to hang with, and she def needs a fenced yard. She uses a doggy door like a champ! Sadie really is sweet and gentle and has so much potential. She comes out of her shell quickly and is a great little companion dog. Young kids are a bit much for her, but Sadie is never aggressive in any situation. A must meet, for this little surviver will not disappoint - so much cuter in person. Great little girl... (Fostered in PA - We do not text) (If you do not hear back from us within about 6 hours, send us your phone number, for there is clearly something wrong with your email!) Dog's Best Friend Adoption Center utilizes an adoption application and screening process. We require personal and vet references and a home check made prior to adopting one of our dogs. All of our dogs are companion animals that must be kept inside the house with the rest of the family members. All of our dogs are temperament tested, well mannered, and know some basic commands ~ they are worked with daily, as someone is always here with them. All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption are usually $595, depending on breed, age, size, vetting, and training of the dog (some pure bred or tiny dog fees are higher; older dogs or special needs dogs are much lower). This donation helps to pay for shots, de-wormings, spays, neuters, flea protection, heartworm/Lyme testing, treatments, transport fees, and other vetting/issues that might be needed, for dogs in our care. Dog's Best Friend dogs truly make wonderful family pets. Please email us for an application. (If you email us and do not hear back from us within 24 hours, please try again, as we most likely did not receive your email!) (Also note that many of our dogs are fostered just across the border into PA)
