Meet Sadie
Single senior seeking active human senior who loves to go for walks!
Don't be put off by her age; she can outwalk some younger dogs easily.
Sadie is anywhere from 10 years old and up. When she came into animal control they posted her as 13, but we think she's younger!
At best guess we think she's a Shih Tzu and Yorkie Mix. Her fur is soft and she has that adorable ear that sticks out to the side!
Sadie loves to take long walks and starts out like a husky! Sadie has a collapsing trachea so she makes a honking sound if she pulls too hard. The collapsing trachea is very common in small dogs and in Sadie's case she only makes the sound when she plays too hard or pulls on her harness.
Sadie's collapsing trachea requires NO medical treatment!
She is more independent and does not crawl in your lap looking for attention, she chooses to sit next to you or on a different chair! She will give you the paw if she wants you to keep petting her though.
Sadie is housetrained to a schedule but will need someone who is home more than not. Being a senior girl she needs to take more bathroom breaks than younger dogs.
Sadie has lived with other dogs and is currently plays with a 4 year old male dog in her foster home. She seems to like the male dogs better than the females so we will be looking for a home with either a small male dog or no pets at all.
*Sadie was adopted out but unfortunately we found out that she is not good with cats - she likes to give chase, therefore she will not be adopted out to anyone with cats.
Sadie's adoption fee is $150.00 which includes the following vaccinations:
Rabies, distemper, bordatella, heartworm negative, she is also micro-chipped and is spayed.
