Sable #8 Black Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Sable #8 is a gorgeous, sweet, energetic and a young lady who loves to run and play as much as she loves to cuddle with her foster Mom at night. She is house and crate trained and has quickly learned her foster home’s daily routine. She follows her foster parents around the house and just wants to be part of the family. Sable is very smart and has learned basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “come” She is easily trainable. Sable loves to be outside, go for walks, play fetch, and explore. She will play and run with her foster siblings but will calm down once inside, especially if she has a toy.

Sable is great with other dogs but is still a puppy so she is learning how to be deferential to our older dogs who don’t always want to play when she does. She would also be good as an only dog. A fenced in yard would be ideal so she can explore and get some exercise. She would likely be best if not left alone all day as she is very attached to her humans.

She is a really special girl. Once you meet her, she will give you a hug and steal your heart!

ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.

Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
