Saber Mixed Breed Neillsville, WI

Meet Saber! Saber came to CCHS when he was found as a stray in the Thorp area. Nobody came to reclaim him, so now he's looking for a new home. Saber is a Mixed Breed, although we're guessing he's got some Husky mixed in there. He is about 3 years old and weighs 40.4#. He is a good-looking boy with a short-haired coat that is tan and white. He has gorgeous blue eyes. The right eye does appear larger in his pictures, which is due to a cataract in that eye. The vet has told us that it's not bothering him or causing any pain, so nothing has to be done for it at this time. Saber is an active boy with lots of energy to burn. He will do best in a home with lots of activities to keep him busy and exercised. He can be a bit selective in whom he likes, so a meet and greet is definitely recommended! The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
