Rye is a 5 year old Boxer mix boy that weighs 57 pounds. He was adopted as a puppy and then recently returned.

Here is what some of our volunteers had to say about him: “We had a blast!!! Great trail dog!!!! Gently greets or ignores people, mildly interested greet with another dog, enjoyed the presence of some young boys who wanted me to watch them go through a rock tunnel and he LOVED the water!!! Either this wasn’t his first rodeo or he’s a born adventure pup!! Either way, I love him!!!”

"Today I met Rye and instantly fell in love with those sweet eyes! With all that energy thought for sure he was younger than his 5.5 years! Loved the water, kisses and looks like I was able to tire him out a bit!"

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
